Dear Fellow Alumni:

I very much look forward to working with the HLS alumin in Brazil during this three-year cycle. We hope to build a strong and integrated community. In order to achieve that, our administration is committed to three main goals:

1. Formalize the organization, under the most advanced governance principles and best practices – including periodical elections for 3-year mandate terms for each position –, ensuring transparency, accountability and participation, democratically building shared views of the role and values of the organization among alumni, future alumni and our community

2. Foster diversity and inclusion within our network and beyond, by creating programs and initiatives that promote equitable access to education and opportunities such as mentorships and fundraising; and

3. Strengthen alumni connections and involvement in key legal issues in Brazil, expanding the HLS footprint in the region and building a diverse and interactive network of alumni, promoting relationships that benefit members and the organization.

I encourage those who would like to become more active in our Association to follow us on LinkedIn and contact us at info@brazil.hlsa.org.

With warmest regards,

Francisco (Chico) Mussnich, '79
